Created by president, Allison Brzezinski, Nasty Women Unite Fest is a non-profit multi-day festival amplifying voices that are not often heard in the mainstream media, providing a necessary platform for talented Nasty Women artists of all mediums. In addition, the festival incorporates carefully curated panels and resource advocacy, fostering discussion on many issues related to intersectional feminism. All profits are donated to the ACLU, supporting the rights of all people.
Each show of this year’s NWUF will focus on a central theme inspired by a branch of the United States Government, including the unofficial fourth branch – The People, as well as the myriad of issues that affect every citizen. An intimate talkback conversation with an esteemed guest with our President Allison Brzezinski, will kick off every show, followed by performances and screenings by our wonderfully talented artists – all with the aim to not only entertain, but provoke meaningful conversations.
