Mission Statement

Bridge and Olive dance is a contemporary dance duo that strives to reach new audiences through multi media productions that are humorous, thoughtful, a little outrageous and always collaborative. They bring dance into new and unlikely places and are guerrilla-esque in their approach to art. In a commitment to actively and positively contributing to their field, Bridge and Olive dance passionately engages a burgeoning community of artists in a monthly open studio series that provides a forum for emerging and mid career artists to workshop material as well as explore and express creatively through improvisation and musical collaboration.

Always striving to reach new and unsuspecting audiences, Bridge and Olive Dance revels in performing in situations where dance is not expected. Performance locations include bookstores, college campuses, rooftops, the median of Fourth Avenue in Brooklyn, house parties, public parks, the Redwood Forest, and numerous bars and restaurants.
